Under new management

The Almtal family pool — freshly taken over

We are delighted to be running the much-loved outdoor pool in Grünau im Almtal from the 2026 season onwards. As the family who has been running the neighbouring Gasthof Zaunerhof for years, we have known this pool since childhood — and we will do everything we can to keep it the place where locals and visitors enjoy summer together.

We kick off the season with a grand opening on 15 May 2026. Open daily from 9:00 to 20:00 through mid-September, weather permitting. Day-to-day updates on Facebook and right here on the site.

What you'll find here

Over 500 m² of water, a sunny sunbathing lawn, plenty of shaded spots — and a buffet right at the poolside for whenever hunger strikes.

Sport pool

Heated pool with starting blocks — perfect for lap swimming and sport swimmers.

Adventure pool with slide

The water slide ends in the adventure pool — fun for water lovers of all ages.

Children's pool

A dedicated shallow area with a small slide — safe and lovingly designed for the youngest swimmers.

Buffet

Snacks, drinks and small dishes right at the poolside — no one leaves us hungry.

Sunbathing lawn

Catch some sun or relax in the shade — the lawn offers both, with mountain views included.

Parking & access

30 parking spaces (1 accessible), showers, toilets, changing cabins — barrier-free with assistance.
